urban roof opened a new skatepark in ljubljana… it is the first indoor one in slovenia… how is that for a modern country. hehe.. but the guys did such a sick job and i cant wait to cruise through that bad boy.

made it home from bali. and i am so stoked to be here. the alps were full on covered in snow and it was +6 when i landed in zurich. same temp like NZ hehe. i am exited for the upcoming weeks some good things are on the menu…

going back to summer was awesome. it flew by so fast but it was for sure worth the visit. there was almost no waves all the 5 days i was there but my bro took some photos on this session we had. he was swimming in there for a while but all he was doing was following this surfer girl around the lineup . hehe. but he did also manage to catch us for a second. the shoot of me is what i call a slovenian (or maybe a central european) barrel, since every surfer from this part of the world is claiming his skills like he is kelly slater himself, but sadly we always are the worst surfers in the lineup. but this barrel turned out great  for me , i got the lip straight in the head and it was ringing in my ears for the next 10 min. heheheh. on the way home now after 2 months. always so stoked to go home….

i was a full on tourist today… i love doing that just cruising through the city checking it out.  if i would move anywhere in the world i would move here. (or maybe mojstrana in slo…hahhahaha). i think it is a perfect city. not too big on the ocean sick surf sick people. just simply dope. i did the whole downtown and then went to bondi beach. the surf looked nice and so did the skatepark. heh. i also bought a couple souvenirs. a leather jacket, some sweaters,… heheh. i also noticed there is so manny yugos here, even more than back home. maybe even more than in their home country…switzerland. hhahaha. when i got home i heard the news that cilka won the junior worlds. congrats sis. and that just made this day perfect.

every time i come to NZ i have so much fun. there is always a really relaxed crew of people and it really fells good to start snowboarding in the winter not on glaciers. i love it here and i cant wait to come back again….

we stayed down and just shot product in the studio. did some interviews and played some football tennis. of course i charged it to the point where i hurt myself. no big deal do. should be fine tomorrow. going to bali in 2 days stoked. 

we saw this random people taking a photo the other day. jack linn and me jumped in and got this cool shot. jack and his bro are getting framed for sure… heheh

today we went to snowpark to shoot. mostly lifestyle stuff. i found out once again that jack is the funniest person to ever walk this earth. then i went over to the junior worlds. i wanted to enter but they said that my last year i could ride was 7 years ago. heheh. but urska pribosic was killing it and she got 2nd at the end. big ups for slovenia. respect….

the whole team went to shred and shot together today. it was so much fun. we came up and there was some powder and i hit my first pow jump after a long time. and i can say holly smokes that was fun. you can see on the photo cyril gave me that this mujo is not used to get pow shots in his face. hehe… my phone and my camera also stoped working at the same time today. which really sucks…

we went up cardrona in the morning to shot the big jump. it worked out good. it was bigger than i thought. mad airtime. then we drove over to snowpark to shot the step over. which was also cool. so from sunrise to sunset day. i am so tired now. Cyril hooked me up with a photo of the jump.

we had bad weather again but we went out and shot for a bit. the big jump at cardrona is still waiting but we shot this tower at snowpark. worked out good so i am sure we got a couple keepers. i am really stoked on the aftermath board. the one i am riding now is going to be on sale in november.

we stayed down today. it was raining in the morning and a day off fells really good. went to play some golf and shoot some guns. i won 30$ off maurer for hitting the ball longer then him 3 times in a row. thanx for the bling buddy. hehe… shooting a gun is fun but i am not really backing guns…

we set up this jump at cardrona today. gonna go up early tomorrow to shoot it. it is big but not too crazy so i think it should be fun. i also got the photoshoot samples. aftermath the board that i have been working on for the last half year is under my feet. we did a whole new shape flex and design. really stoked to be a part of that process.

just went up snowpark today. the conditions were perfect. warm and slushy with no people. we filmed some follow cams with alpine king gabe. heh. in the next day or 2 we are getting the 2012 gear so the catalog shoot will start. i am really exited to actually see some of the products.

today the weather was bad… we were sopose to have practice but the wind was super strong. the contest is tomorrow but it is raining outside so lets see. still did a couple runs up there and i was really impressed with how manny burton nug boards there were out there. i rode one of them and it is so sick. i was on a 146 and it rode like my 158. for sure this is the future….

today it was insane. perfect weather, snow and an insane setup. we got the heli for a session and we hit the step over for a bit. it was really fun. i am still not feeling the whole airbag thing. way more sketchy than doing tricks on a safe kicker. i also promissed to myself that i will just cruise and take it easy for the first few days. that was just as much of an empty thought like the one where i said to myself that i am getting a girlfriend. hehehe… the slovenian kids gave me a ride to Wanaka.

today was super fun… brought those rusty legs out for a few runs. we had the airbag setup and everything. i have to say that it is hard leaving summer but a few runs on the board makes it all worth it. i am off to play some football with the kids, show them who the real dragan is. hah
